HD Services team is looking for an Regional Application Engineer for China. The role involves working and partnering with Sales and commercial teams to deliver value based and winning outcomes for regional customers.Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Provides technical expertise and develops technical solutions (configuration performance estimation value story etc.) as part of the pre-ITO / R1 solutioning process while interfacing with the commercial and sales team.
- Possesses a deep understanding of relevant markets and customer economic value that aid winning bid strategies.
- Leads pipeline creation and opportunity engagement with customers driving a win-win solution partnering with Sales leadership to deliver Wins.
- Utilizes in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline and analytical thinking and technical experience to execute policy/strategy.
- Deliver proposals and work on Risk management Own the cost and overall proposal (Technical) structure.
- Take ownership in working with cross functional teams on engagement from R0 to R1 Solutioning to ITO ( Services process steps) and partner with commercial teams on delivering a winning solution.
Required Qualifications
- Engineering/Technology & Customer Application Engineering.
- Power plant / Gas Turbine experience including operations maintenance is critical.
- Ability to run GT performance tools is of added value.
- Knowledge of CM&U Application process (NU and Services) is of value.
Desired Characteristics
- Strong oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. Ability to document plan market and execute programs.
