600 Sqn SNCO Human Resources

Subject to formal establishment amendment a vacancy will arise for a Sgt (People Specialist / Pers (Spt)) to serve as SNCO HR at 600 Sqn RAF Northolt on Full Time Reserve Service (Limited Commitment) FTRS (LC) Terms and Conditions of Service with an initial proposed start date of 25 May 2026 (or earlier/later subject to candidate status).

The Post.To ensure the efficient and effective management of the Sqn HR Functions and the delivery of personnel management and administrative support to all Sqn so doing they are to ensure all activities comply with current regulations and legislation. As a member of 600 Sqn you are to fully integrate into all areas of Sqn life assisting with the smooth running of the Sqn and the ultimate output that of supporting the RAF.

About Us:

600 Sqn Aim: 600 (City of London) Squadron is a General Support Squadron within the Royal Air Force Reserves and based at RAF Northolt. Its primary aim isto provide trained personnel from a range of professions to support military tasks in the UK and overseas delivering operational output to the regular RAF.

The Team: The team is entrepreneurial proactive and work in a highly collaborative forward leaning challenging environment. We work closely with RAF Northolt other RAuxAF squadrons the Southern England and Wales reserves Support Wing (SEWRSW) civilian employers and outside agencies across Greater London. About You: Were looking for someone who is comfortable working in a multi-talented diverse team a self-starter proactive individual who is content with empowerment and engagement with all ranks as part of a wider team. Someone who is self-dependent well organized and confident with IT. As the Deputy Squadron Commander youll represent the Sqn at key training events as well as occasional recruitment and engagement events. Youll have an enquiring mind manage resources make informed assessments and relay key information in a variety of formats depending upon the audience(s).
