Your Next Challenge
Lead the day-to-day operations of Newhauls Transport division. Working in close partnership with key stakeholders across the roads Division and beyond this role plays a pivotal part in delivering operational excellence achieving service and tonnage targets and maintaining Newhauls strong commitment to safety and compliance.
- Recruit lead and develop Superintendents and Supervisors across multiple sites
- Set KPIs conduct reviews and foster a culture of accountability and improvement
- Ensure safety compliance and cost-effective movement from pit to port
- Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives across labour fuel fleet and loaders while supporting digitisation and automation aligned with business goals.
About You
- An inspiring hands-on leader with a deep knowledge of road trains and be a seasoned transport and logistics professional understanding long-haul road transportation in bulk commodities
- Communicates with clarity and confidence and likes to get in and amongst it who lives and breathes all things transport
- Strong knowledge of WHS legislation and risk management
- Commercially savvy results-driven and passionate about innovation digitisation and automation
