Job Description

• Overall Purpose Oversees one or more Salesforce engineering teams responsible for designing developing documenting testing deploying and maintaining solutions on the Salesforce platform.
• Mentors and coaches team members collaborates with other engineering managers and stakeholders and ensures the quality security and performance of delivered Salesforce solutions. 
• This is a Manager role managing 17 people doing code review and when needed will have to be hands on to include testing. 
• Must have prior leadership experience doing this kind of role in their past. 
• Needs to have coaching experience as well.
• Essential Functions Manage the full lifecycle of Salesforce development projects from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.
• Lead the design and implementation of complex Salesforce solutions using best practices and industry standards.
• Oversee code reviews testing debugging and troubleshooting of Salesforce applications.
• Ensure compliance with internally defined and industry-standard security governance and performance guidelines.
• Provide technical guidance and feedback to team members and foster a culture of inclusion learning and innovation.
• Collaborate with other engineering managers product managers business analysts and end users to deliver high-value solutions to our customers consumers and users.
• Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in the Salesforce ecosystem and evaluate new tools and frameworks for future adoption.
• Supports the companys commitment to risk management and protecting the integrity and confidentiality of systems and data.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field is required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Salesforce development with at least 2 years in a leadership or lead role.
• Experience in Apex Visualforce Lightning Web Components SOQL SOSL and REST/SOAP APIs.
• Experience with Salesforce APIs integration tools and data migration.
• Experience with managed packages and other 3rd-party Salesforce components.
• Experience with Salesforce development tools such as VS Code SFDX Git CI/CD etc.
• Experience with Salesforce products and features such as Sales Cloud Service Cloud Marketing Cloud Community Cloud Einstein Analytics etc. One or more Salesforce certifications.
• Experience with agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
• Excellent communication collaboration and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Salesforce Platform Developer I certification.
• Experience with test automation frameworks and tools.
• UI/UX development experience based on Salesforce Experience Cloud.
