The Housekeeping Recruitment & Training Manager is responsible for attracting onboarding and developing exceptional Housekeeping talent in alignment with Fairmonts luxury brand standards. This role partners closely with Housekeeping leadership and the Talent Acquisition team to ensure a consistent pipeline of high-calibre colleagues and the delivery of structured engaging training programs that elevate service excellence operational efficiency and colleague engagement.

Rate of Pay: $60000 - $65000 per year dependent on experience
Job Duties Include:
- Lead end-to-end recruitment for Housekeeping positions ensuring staffing levels support operational demands and seasonal fluctuations.
- Screen interview and select candidates who demonstrate alignment with Fairmont service culture attention to detail and professionalism.
- Oversee onboarding processes to ensure a seamless and welcoming experience for new colleagues.
- Design implement and continuously enhance Housekeeping training programs aligned with Fairmont brand standards LQA standards and health & safety regulations.
- Ensure consistent training on luxury service behaviors guest engagement cleanliness standards and operational procedures.
- Identify skill gaps and implement corrective training plans to address performance opportunities.
- Act as a coach and mentor to colleagues providing ongoing feedback and development support.
- Collaborate closely with the Housekeeping Leadership team and the Talent Acquisition team to align recruitment and training priorities with business needs.
Qualifications :
- Minimum 1 years experience in Housekeeping Leadership
- Experience with recruitment processes applicant tracking systems and databases.
- Working knowledge of employment law immigration and legislation considered an asset
- Degree or diploma in hospitality management an asset
- Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook Teams Excel and Word) required
