Position Summary

As a member of Medical Device Reprocessing Team the Program Lead works in support of and in good collaboration with the MDRD leadership team Manager Director UHN teams clinical team and community partners to provide leadership and direction for program operations and primary care services. The position will support MDRD activities as part of the MDR services including the implementation and evaluation of new models of equipment infrastructure improvements day to day management of the services and is a unique opportunity in the field of MDRD.

Duties

  • Maintaining responsibility for the effective and efficient management of the MDR services
  • Provides leadership and direction to the interprofessional and administrative team and community staffing partners
  • Assuming responsibility for the effective oversight of operational details patient care and quality
  • Performing corporate management responsibilities
  • Performing cross-functional duties as assigned or requested
  • Performing other duties consistent to the job classification as required.

Qualifications :

  • Experience in a primary care environment
  • At minimum over 4 years up to and including 6 years practical and related experience required
  • Strong knowledge of and familiarity with the principals of population health and health equity
  • Leadership or project management experience preferred
  • Experience in maintaining high quality practice in the clinical and community environment
  • Ability to provide duties in a professional manner and produce high quality work
  • Exercise and initiative and good judgement with the ability to multi-task
  • Compliance with confidentiality requirements
  • Effective organizational communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of applicable legislative UHN and/or departmental policies
  • Client service oriented with the ability to effectively work with diversity and appreciate that people with different opinion backgrounds and characteristics bring richness to the challenge or situation at hand.
  • Proven experience in building operations and Steam systems is requires
  • Proven experience in MDR infrastructure systems is required
