• Ensures Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies processes and acting in a safe manner always.
• Maintain a safe work environment that follows all state federal and company regulations.
• Performs complex analysis of samples following prescribed procedures with the ability to solve problems.
• Performs complex analysis of samples following prescribed procedures with the ability to solve problems.
• Maintenance of equipment including outside vendor scheduling per maintenance contract schedules and suggests solutions to equipment problems and new/replacement laboratory equipment.
• Completes all paperwork associated with the analysis in a neat and timely fashion.
• Ensures that all work meets applicable QA/QC guidelines.

• Bachelors Degree in Chemistry Biology Environmental Science or related science is highly preferred.
• 2 years of experience in a laboratory setting.
• Prior supervisory experience (2) is preferred.
• Experience with QA/QC Lab certification and production required.
• Working knowledge of ICP IC and other laboratory instrumentation is required.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and effective communication skills.

• Ability to build rapport through regular conversations with staff.
