Job Description
The facility is seeking a qualified Mammography Technologist to perform mammographic imaging procedures used by physicians to detect abnormalities support diagnoses and assist in patient treatment planning. The technologist will operate imaging equipment ensure patient safety and comfort and maintain high-quality diagnostic standards.
Key Responsibilities
Perform mammography radiographic procedures in accordance with established protocols
Prepare patients for procedures and explain the process to ensure comfort and compliance
Maintain imaging equipment and adhere to quality control standards
Ensure compliance with radiation safety and infection control guidelines
Accurately document procedures and patient information
Requirements
Certification:
ARRT Mammography (or eligibility as applicable)
Experience:
Procedure and biopsy experience required
Licensure:
Must meet applicable state licensure requirements prior to start
