As an Environmental Manager at Micron you will have the outstanding opportunity to build and improve our environmental programs ensuring operational excellence and compliance with regulatory standards. This role is pivotal in driving our ambitious and world-class environmental initiatives!

Responsibilities and Tasks:

• Ensure Microns environmental programs and procedures are effective efficient and correspond with the management system and regulatory requirements.

• Coordinate manage and conduct environmental walkthroughs inspections and audits to ensure operations align with procedures and regulatory requirements.

• Develop and maintain the ISO EHS management system and perform internal audits.

• Perform incident and event follow-up and investigation determine root cause(s) implement containment action establish corrective action & preventative action and verify efficiency.

• Provide customer support and technical expertise for various environmental issues and environmental regulations successfully implementing functional efficient solutions.

• Assist in achieving sites sustainability goals by participating in committees and providing feedback to plan complete and monitor projects.

• Clearly communicate environmental issues (both written and verbal) to Micron Leadership and local state and federal agencies.

• Meet requirements to conduct accurate environmental calculations and submit vital reports to regulatory agencies.

• Conduct applicability determinations on environmental regulations.

• Make objective decisions supported by verifiable facts.

• Collect evaluate and communicate environmental-related metrics and performance measurements.

• Identify develop and provide environmental training in accordance with regulations and company & department objectives.

• Develop and implement functional efficient solutions for environmental issues.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in environmental or chemical engineering environmental science or a related field or equivalent experience.

• More than 7 years of environmental management experience in semiconductors or high technology industries is preferred.

• Proven understanding of environmental regulations and compliance standards.

• Specific experience in environmental programs including air pollution management waste minimization recycling and reuse environmental impact evaluation wastewater treatment and greenhouse gas inventory among others.

• Verified expertise in formulating and managing environmental and sustainability programs in semiconductor or high technology industries.

• Experience in semiconductor or high-tech industry construction is preferred.

• Familiarity with ISO14001 ISO 14064 ISO50001 is preferred.

• Strong English communication and coordination skills (listening speaking reading and writing).

• Excellent interpersonal skills written and verbal communication abilities standout colleague strong collaboration and analytical skills and ability to work independently.

• Outstanding analytical & problem-solving skills to address EHS challenges and implement effective solutions.

Certifications Required:

• Hold environmental-related certifications (such as dedicated air pollution control specialist dedicated wastewater and sewage treatment specialist waste disposal technician toxic chemical substances management specialist).
• ISO 14001 / ISO 45001 lead auditor is preferred.
