Role Overview
We are seeking a professional to serve as an on-site representative to oversee and stabilize a critical supplier in Taiwan. This individual will have full oversight of production performance and the suppliers financial health ensuring the continuity of our supply chain and the implementation of a robust turnaround strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Oversight: Drive end-to-end production readiness managing schedules and clear-to-build status to ensure on-time delivery.
- Financial & Liquidity Oversight: Review supplier and critical sub-supplier cash flow to assess the viability of the entire local ecosystem.
- Sub-tier Supply Chain Mapping & Financial health: Map and monitor the suppliers entire sub-tier network (Tier 2 and Tier 3) to identify hidden risks and dependencies.
- Tier 2 Risk Mitigation: Conduct on-site audits at key sub-tier facilities in Taiwan to verify their financial stability quality standards and adherence to production timelines.
- Performance Reporting: Maintain monthly KPI scorecards that integrate data from both the primary supplier and their critical sub-tier partners.
- Production Stabilization: Perform root cause analysis of manufacturing failures and implement corrective actions (CAPA) at both the primary and sub-tier levels.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: 10 years in supply chain management or manufacturing turnaround with a specific track record of managing multi-tier supply networks.
- Strategic Sourcing: Proficiency in managing complex vendor relationships and negotiating across multiple tiers of a supply chain.
- Risk Intelligence: Hands-on experience with Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM) software (e.g. Z2Data Everstream) to monitor geopolitical and operational risks in real-time.
- Financial Acumen: Ability to analyze financial health across a network of related entities to prevent cascading failures.
- Language: Fluency in English and professional proficiency in Mandarin Chinese to navigate the local Taiwanese sub-contractor landscape.
