Key Responsibilities
Provide cost planning estimating and budgeting services throughout the project lifecycle
Prepare tender documentation bills of quantities and procurement strategies
Evaluate tenders prepare tender reports and assist with contractor selection
Manage project costs valuations variations and final accounts
Monitor financial performance and provide regular cost reports to clients
Support contract administration and commercial risk management
Liaise with clients consultants and contractors to ensure successful project delivery
Key Requirements
Degree in Quantity Surveying Commercial Management or a related discipline
Relevant experience in a consultancy or client-side environment
Strong knowledge of standard forms of contract
Competent in cost management software and Microsoft Office
Excellent analytical communication and negotiation skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
Desirable
Chartered status (MRICS) or working towards professional accreditation
Experience across a variety of sectors such as commercial residential healthcare or infrastructure
Understanding of sustainability and value engineering principles
