Job Summary
Job Title: Senior Accountant
Location: Houston TX 77024
Contract Duration: 88 Weeks
Schedule: Monday Friday 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
Pay Rate:$38 - $40/hour
Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Senior Accountantfor an exciting job in Houston TX.
Responsibilities
Perform complex accounting and financial analysis supporting system-wide financial reporting
Ensure the accuracy integrity and timeliness of financial statements
Develop and present financial analytics including detailed variance analysis
Identify and recommend improvements to accounting systems processes and procedures
Review and approve account reconciliations in compliance with accounting standards
Provide guidance training and support to accounting team members
Partner with financial management and administrative teams to deliver actionable insights
Retrieve analyze and interpret data from ERP systems and business intelligence tools
Required Qualifications
EPIC Cash Reconciliation experience
Lawson financial system experience
BlackLine experience
Experience Knowledge & Skills
57 years of progressive accounting experience
Advanced knowledge of financial accounting principles and practices
Strong analytical skills with experience performing variance analysis
Proven ability to retrieve and analyze data from ERP systems and BI tools
Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency including pivot tables VLOOKUPs macros and complex formulas
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in healthcare or hospital financial environments
Ability to work independently on complex financial issues
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities
