Project Overview
Great Basin Staffing LLC is supporting staffing for a Water & Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) project in Phoenix AZ part of the greater Phoenix metro public infrastructure build-out.
This is a high-visibility municipal project involving civil structural concrete mechanical piping electrical instrumentation and process systems. The work requires experienced field leadership who understand sequencing safety inspections and coordination in regulated public works environments.
We are hiring Project Foremen and Site Supervisors who can lead crews enforce standards and keep production moving while maintaining compliance with municipal safety and quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Field Leadership & Supervision
Lead daily field operations for assigned crews and scopes
Direct journeymen operators and apprentices across multiple trades
Assign tasks track production and maintain schedule milestones
Serve as the on-site leadership presence for your scope
WWTP / Infrastructure Scope Oversight
Civil earthwork underground utilities and structural concrete
Mechanical piping (process piping ductile iron stainless PVC)
Electrical and instrumentation coordination (conduit embeds terminations support)
Equipment foundations pads vaults basins and structures
Safety & Compliance
Enforce OSHA standards site-specific safety plans and JHAs
Conduct daily safety briefings and job hazard analysis
Maintain clean organized inspection-ready work areas
Coordinate with safety managers and inspectors
Coordination & Documentation
Interface with Superintendents Project Managers inspectors and engineers
Read and execute plans specs and construction documents
Track manpower materials and equipment needs
Support daily reports timekeeping and progress documentation
Required Experience
Leadership Background
5 years in construction with foreman or supervisory experience
Proven leadership on WWTP water wastewater or heavy civil projects
Experience running crews of 530 personnel
Technical Experience (Any Combination)
Water / wastewater treatment facilities
Structural concrete (forms rebar pours)
Underground utilities and piping systems
Mechanical/process piping systems
Electrical or instrumentation coordination experience (preferred not required)
Project Environment Experience
Municipal or public works projects
Inspection-heavy compliance-driven environments
Multi-trade coordination and sequencing
Soft Skills & Leadership Traits
Strong communicator with crews and management
Decisive organized and schedule-driven
Safety-first mindset
Comfortable enforcing standards and accountability
Calm under pressure in complex job sites
Physical & Work Conditions
