Job Summary
The Platform Engineer will be responsible for designing building and supporting cloud-native platforms and DevOps solutions. The role focuses on .NET/C# development Azure DevOps CI/CD Infrastructure as Code and observability while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable reliable and secure platforms within the Banking domain.
Roles & Responsibilities Core Platform & DevOps Responsibilities-
Design develop and support cloud-native applications and platforms using .NET and C#.

Apply Agile methodologies to deliver high-quality production-ready code.

Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Configuration as Code practices.

Manage and maintain multiple codebases using Git.
-
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
-
Implement observability solutions including application monitoring and log aggregation.
-
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver DevOps-inspired solutions.
-
Build customer-facing data insights and enterprise-wide reporting solutions.
-
Configure and manage Grafana Cloud components including data sources permissions and advanced features.
-
Develop and optimize complex queries using Kusto Query Language (KQL) or equivalent SQL.

Design build and support Azure Function Apps across the full development lifecycle using .NET.

Work with Azure SQL and/or PostgreSQL database systems.

Utilize Azure DevOps components including work items repositories pipelines and access control.

Configure webhooks and integrate REST APIs to support reporting and data insights.

Translate business and reporting requirements into data-driven technical solutions.

Total Experience: 5 years
-
Relevant Experience: 3 years in Platform Engineering DevOps SRE or related roles

Hands-on experience with .NET and C#
-
Strong experience in DevOps practices and Azure DevOps
-
Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines Git and Agile development
-
Experience with Infrastructure as Code and Configuration as Code
-
Experience building cloud-native applications on a major public cloud (Azure preferred)
-
Experience implementing monitoring observability and logging solutions
Desired / Nice-to-Have SkillsSkill Level Definitions:
Level 1 Experience: General familiarity with the technology
Level 2 Proficiency: Production-level experience creating and supporting workloads
Level 3 Expertise: SME-level experience across multiple production implementations

University degree in a computing-related field or equivalent experience

Proficiency with Azure DevOps Repos and Pipelines

Experience provisioning Azure resources using Terraform

Experience with containers and orchestration especially Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)

Proficiency in .NET PowerShell and PowerShell DSC

Microsoft Certifications (Azure DevOps Engineer Expert Azure Developer Associate Azure Administrator Associate)
