Job Summary

Our client is a energy and utilities cooperation in Vietnam seeking experienced professionals to join their firm.
Project Leadership & Delivery
Provide end-to-end leadership for the planning construction commissioning and operation of energy generation facilities.
Direct collaboration with EPC contractors engineering consultants and public authorities to ensure timely and compliant project delivery.
Proactively manage technical regulatory environmental and safety-related challenges throughout the project lifecycle.
Exercise strict financial oversight to ensure capital efficiency and adherence to globally recognized technical and quality standards.
Country Operations & Business Management
Define and implement country-level business strategies aligned with corporate growth objectives.
Lead multidisciplinary teams across engineering finance legal human resources administration and plant operations.
Build trusted partnerships with government agencies commercial partners and key local stakeholders.
Governance Risk & Compliance
Ensure all activities comply with applicable local legislation energy regulations and environmental and occupational safety requirements.
Establish robust internal governance frameworks covering ESG principles health & safety systems and corporate compliance.
External Relations & Corporate Representation
Act as the official face of the organization in the local market.
Enhance corporate visibility and reputation through industry engagement and regulatory liaison.
Support engagement with international lenders development banks and investors for financing and strategic collaboration when required.
Requirements
University degree or higher qualification in engineering energy-related disciplines or business management; advanced degrees are considered an advantage.
Extensive career (typically over a decade) within the power and energy industry.
Demonstrated success in senior executive or country-level management positions.
Direct involvement in the delivery of large-scale power generation projects from development through construction.
Exposure to international assignments or cross-border business environments is highly desirable.
Strong working knowledge of regulatory processes licensing grid interconnection and commercial frameworks within the energy sector.
Exceptional leadership capabilities with experience managing diverse cross-cultural teams.
Ability to coordinate and influence multiple stakeholders across public and private sectors.
Advanced skills in commercial negotiation financial oversight and enterprise risk management.
Structured results-driven approach to planning execution and issue resolution.
Full professional proficiency in English is required; additional languages particularly Russian are an asset.
