As a Locum Radiologist you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating patients using imaging technology. Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures and interpret results
- Collaborate with referring physicians to discuss imaging findings
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in radiology
- Provide timely and accurate reports on imaging studies
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case discussions
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Stay updated with advancements in radiology technology and techniques
- Contribute to patient education regarding imaging procedures and results
Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- Board certification or eligibility in Radiology
- 1-3 years of experience in a clinical radiology setting
- Strong knowledge of imaging modalities including X-ray CT and MRI
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient care
- Valid medical license to practice in the state of Nebraska
Level II Trauma
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8a-5p
No call requirement

Required Procedures: Spine procedures ports and central line placements solid organ biopsies and drainages oncology interventions and image-guided therapies kyphoplasty breast biopsies
Support Staff: PA technologist and nursing staff
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified
