The Role

TheCustomer Success Manager II Paymentsis a senior individual contributor role focused on driving adoption retention and growth ofCompanyCam Paymentsacross a strategic portfolio of customers. This role sits at the intersection of customer success payments operations and product insight owning complex financial workflows risk conversations and data-driven activation strategies. Youll help customers successfully adopt Payments embed it into their daily workflows and realize measurable value through consistent transaction usage. Beyond direct customer impact this role plays a critical part in strengthening CompanyCams overall payments motion by enabling peers shaping playbooks and influencing product direction. This is an opportunity to be both a hands-on customer partner and a force multiplier across the Customer Success organization.

Location: Candidates must permanently and currently reside in Lincoln Nebraska or the surrounding metro area.

What Youll Do

  • Drive Payments activationby identifying customers most likely to adopt based on usage signals workflows and operational needs.
  • Execute targeted onboarding programsthat guide customers through verification setup and their first successful transaction.
  • Analyze adoption and transaction datato uncover bottlenecks drop-off points and opportunities to improve conversion and retention.
  • Re-engage inactive or low-volume customerswith tailored guidance to increase repeat transaction behavior.
  • Partner cross-functionallywith Product Finance Risk and RevOps to reduce friction and improve activation efficiency.
  • Serve as an escalation and subject-matter expertfor complex payments underwriting and transaction lifecycle questions.
  • Coach and enable CSM peersthrough playbooks templates training sessions and workflow best practices.

  • IncreasingPayments activation rates time-to-first-transaction and repeat usage.
  • Improvingcustomer retention and renewal predictabilitythrough deeper workflow adoption.
  • Strengthening CompanyCamspayments motion at scalethrough enablement and playbook development.
  • Influencingproduct and process improvementsusing real customer insights and transaction data.

What Youll Bring

  • 3 years of experiencein SaaS and customer-facing roles.
  • Experience with payments fintech billing or financial products.
  • Strong understanding ofcustomer lifecycle management and activation workflows.
  • Proficiency withCRM tools analytics dashboards and customer engagement platforms.
  • Exceptionalwritten and verbal communication skills including comfort with sensitive financial conversations.
  • Proven ability tosolve complex problems manage escalations and deliver measurable customer outcomes.
  • Experiencecoaching peers or contributing to scalable processes and playbooks preferred.
  • A continuous growth-mindset with a focus on learning embracing challenges and continuously improving.
  • A knack for creativity and innovation bringing fresh ideas to the table and solving complex problems.

Benefits & Compensation

This is a salaried position at CompanyCam. Our starting salary is $58000 per yearand is based on average on target earnings (OTE) are around $81000. We also offer meaningful equity and other benefits.
