Job Summary

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the CRSOW and POOW in the direction and control of communications activities so that the communications requirements are met.
Undertake the responsibilities for off-line encryption/decryption in the POOW absence.
Undertake the duties of SATCOM Operator or Broadcast Operator as required.
Process messages send acknowledgements or retransmission requests as required.
Conduct back-to-back checks ensuring system functionality and hourly channel checks.
Conduct Quality Control checks.
Correct faulty messages to expedite delivery of signals.
Liaise with external authorities as necessary.
