POSITION OVERVIEW

Were seeking a self-reliant and trustworthy Accounting Analyst to join our accounting team. This role will assist the Controller with maintaining processes providing data analysis reconciling accounts and compilation of financial data. This role is ideal for someone who thrives independently communicates effectively across departments and enjoys digging into data to uncover insights. Youll play a key role in financial reporting analysis and process improvements supporting strategic decisions across the PFI division.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

More specifically the employee will:

Support monthly financial close and reporting processes.
Compile ad hoc data analysis develop reporting and metrics where needed.
Prepare account reconciliations and validate financial data.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams on annual budgeting and forecasting
Manage commission reports and communicate with 3^rdparty representatives on financial details and compensation.
Streamline AR processes & procedures support inquiries.
Review and analyze manufacturing data and communicate actionable items to team members.
Timely processing and maintenance of accurate financial records working with other departments to interpret relevant information.
Demonstrate proficiency with use of computer software including but not limited to Microsoft Word Excel Power Point and ERP systems.
Identify opportunities for performance improvement across the organization.
Continually exhibit the qualities of trustworthiness a strong work ethic and positive attitude
Apply good verbal and written communication skills to internal and external customers.

QUALIFICATIONS

Ability to ask questions identify opportunities for improvement and offer solutions to complex issues.
Capability to communicate to non-finance/accounting teams.
Strong analytical experience and demonstration of problem-solving skills by rational methodology.
Motivated and organized self-starter with attention to detail.
Understanding of financial metrics and working knowledge of accounting principles.
Engage in regular consistent attendance.
Ability to travel for on-site visits several times a year.

EDUCATION EXPERIENCE COMPUTER SKILLS

A Bachelors Degree in Finance Accounting or related field.
Two to four years of professional experience in accounting financial planning & analysis corporate finance or other related fields.
Solid understanding of GAAP and standard accounting practices.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP systems.
Experience with month-end close account reconciliations and financial reporting
Familiarity with manufacturing accounting or cost accounting is a plus.
Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred but not required.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently when needed.
