The Mission
In our international team of multidisciplinary squads and be part of building the next-generation banking applications in the Daily Banking tribe. As a Full Stack Software Engineer you will play a crucial role in developing scalable resilient and real-time banking processes providing near real-time information to millions of ING savings account holders in the Netherlands. This is a unique opportunity to work on the technical backbone of our front-end Lit applications and Java APIs which are used by millions of customers across various channels.

Your day to day
Innovate create and improve our digital channels and customer experience;
Collaborate with business colleagues UX designers visual designers and product owners;
Develop backend and frontend solutions using technologies such as Kotlin Java Spring Maven Azure Prisma Oracle Kafka Lit Webcomponents and NPM;
Drive (test) automation continuous delivery and deployment using tools like Azure DevOps SonarQube Fortify OpenShift and Kubernetes;
Take ownership and be responsible for refining coding testing and deploying your work in on-premise and cloud environments;
Lead development experience is a plus;
Solve technical and functional challenges with self-motivation and an itch for innovation;
Collaborate in multidisciplinary teams and embrace an agile way of working.
What you bring to the team
Strong proficiency in software development (backend and frontend) with a proven track record (6 years);
Thorough understanding of (test) automation continuous delivery and deployment tools and pipelines;
DevOps mindset with the ability to refine code test and deploy your own work;
Strong analytical skills and conceptual/architectural understanding;
Interest and vision in recent trends in software development and technology;
Excellent social and communication skills being a sparring partner for business colleagues.
