About Clover Garden School
Clover Garden School is a dynamic tuition-free K-12 public charter school located in Burlington North Carolina. Established in 2001 we serve a diverse community of over 960 students from Alamance Caswell Guilford Randolph Rockingham Orange and Wake counties. Our mission is to foster community generate enthusiasm challenge students academically and produce successful citizens. Position Overview
Clover Garden School is seeking a dynamic energetic and student-focused Middle School Title 1 Teacher Assistant.
Due to Title I grant funding availability for the2025-2026 school year we are looking for a full-
time teacher assistant to help support our teachers and students in the classrooms at the
Elementary level.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting the lead teacher with lesson preparation and delivery
- Providing one-on-one or small-group instruction
- Supervising students in various settings
- Track and record student progress which may include assisting with grading homework and tests
- Help enforce classroom rules and procedures and maintain a positive and orderly learning environment
- Help the teacher prepare and organize classroom materials set up equipment and create displays
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Minimum Degree Level: Associates Degree
Minimum Experience/Requirements: Candidates must meet at least one of the following
criteria:
1) hold at least an Associates Degree
2) 48-semester hours of transferable college coursework (GPA of 2.0 or higher) or
3) have 96-contact hours of college coursework plus passing scores on the
WorkKeys test.
**Please note that this position is only available/secured for the 2025-2026 school year due to
available grant funding.**
