Job Summary
Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Labor & Delivery (CWR)
Openings: 2 Positions Available
Location:Neptune NJ 07754
Schedule: 312-hour shifts per week 7:00 PM7:30 AM / 7:00 AM7:30 PM Both Available Every Other Weekend Required 3 out of 6 Holidays Required No On-Call 36 hrs/week
Unit: LDRP (Labor Delivery Recovery Postpartum) including postpartum antepartum labor and nursery assignments depending on unit needs.
Job Summary
We are seeking two experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) for our Labor & Delivery (L&D) this role you will evaluate patients assist physicians and deliver high-quality patient-centered care across the LDRP spectrum. The RN is responsible for planning implementing and documenting nursing care based on patient needs and professional practice standards.
Key Responsibilities
Plan implement and document nursing care based on patient needs.
Identify patient needs and determine care priorities through assessment planning intervention and evaluation.
Develop and coordinate individualized plans of care through initial and ongoing assessments.
Initiate assessments based on patient conditions physician diagnosis and functional health framework.
Perform therapeutic nursing interventions.
Manage comprehensive care of assigned patients.
Document patient care in alignment with standards of care acuity and clinical priorities.
Advocate for and support evidence-based practice and innovation in care delivery.
Deliver patient-centered care consistent with the professional nursing practice model.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills & Experience
Minimum 1 year of experience in a related specialty (L&D preferred).
Required Years of Experience for This Role: 3 years
Preferred: 5 years of experience
Education
Required: ASN
Preferred: BSN
Certifications & Licensure
Required:
BLS (AHA)
New Jersey RN License or Multistate Compact License
NRP
Preferred:
ACLS
Advanced AWHONN or EFM
