Job Summary

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree required. Must be a graduate student currently enrolled in an Ohio University academic program. Must have strong research writing and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in leadership engagement student success programs or initiatives. Genuine desire to work with First-Year students. Desire to engage across difference. Experience in thinking critically to problem solve issues. Demonstrated ability to balance academics employment and extracurricular activities. Enrollment in an OHIO University Masters or Doctoral program; tuition remission is currently only available to Patton College of Education and Scripps College of Communication students. Elevated leadership role in a student leader position. Experience in engaging across difference.

Work Schedule
Some evening and weekend times are required. This GA position begins August 3 2026 and is paid through hourly compensation. The University College GA stipend begins August 17 2026 the week before the start of the first day of class.
