We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Developer Relations (DevRel) Engineer to foster strong relationships between our engineering teams and the broader developer community. The DevRel Engineer will serve as a technical ambassador creating high-quality content advocating for our product and providing feedback to product teams. This role is pivotal in driving developer engagement adoption and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as a technical liaison between external developers and internal product/engineering teams.
Create and deliver compelling technical content including documentation tutorials blog posts sample code and videos.
Represent the company at conferences hackathons meetups and online communities.
Collect analyze and relay user feedback to help shape the product roadmap.
Build and nurture a vibrant developer community through proactive engagement and support.
Develop and maintain open-source projects SDKs and APIs relevant to our product ecosystem.
Assist in troubleshooting and resolving complex developer issues.
Stay abreast of industry trends technologies and best practices to effectively advocate for the companys solutions.
Organize and participate in webinars workshops and AMAs (Ask Me Anything) to promote awareness and adoption.
Collaborate closely with marketing engineering and product management teams.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
3 years of experience as a software engineer developer advocate or similar technical role.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a demonstrated ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
Proven experience in technical content creation (e.g. blogs tutorials videos or public speaking engagements).
Strong programming skills in one or more modern languages (e.g. Python JavaScript Java Go etc.).
Experience working with APIs SDKs and cloud technologies.
Demonstrated community involvement or open-source contributions is highly desirable.
Self-motivated proactive and able to work independently as well as collaboratively.
Legal authorization to work in the United States; current US residency required.
Compensation and Benefits:
Annual Salary: $120000 to $160000
