Job Summary

Position Role: Responsible for hardware system integration and operability for DMICP(D) systems. To ensure that all system hardware is maintained and fully functioning pan Med IS Del CIS capability.

Responsibilities:

1. Build/test/synchronisation of all deployable Med IS assets;

2. Maintain fleet of at readiness Med IS equipment;

3. Escalation of issues through CoC to 3rd parties (CGI/DD) with regards to systems issues and faults;

4. Provide 2nd line CIS eqpt repair and support and escalate to 3rd line as required;

5. Undertake testing integration and onward distribution of software updates;

6. Assist with J3/4/5 requirements of eqpt management;

7. Maintain the Med IS equipment fault log;

8. Assist in the scrutinization of all requests to ensure Med IS support requested is fit for purpose;

9. Deputise for Systems Manager as and when required;

10. Any other tasks as directed by the CoC.

Pre Appt/Deployment Trg: CIS Sys Admin equivalent

Domestic Considerations: Should live near to base as no accommodation available for FTRS.

Other Comments

Individual with CIS background (R Sig or RLC Comm Spec) essential in order to provide support and capability ability to travel within UK beneficial to support users.
