Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Nurse Manager Perioperative Services at Northridge Hospital Medical Center youll oversee upwards of 100 surgical services staff and act as the conduit between these caregivers and leadership teams. You will communicate the organizations goals to the staff as we constantly seek to improve patient experience and outcomes. At the same time you will advocate for your team by bringing any issues requests or new ideas from them to leadership. You will manage our Perioperative Services departments which consist of the OR Pre-Admission Testing Short Stay Unit PACU and GI Lab.We have 12 operating rooms and on average we perform 480 surgeries per month. Our surgical specialties include; ortho neuro spine general urology GYN and robotics.

Job Requirements

Required Education and Experience:
  • Bachelors Degree in Nursing or equivalent education and experience required.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of nursing experience required.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of leadership experience required.
Required Licensure:
  • Registered Nursing License (RN) in CA required.
  • American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
