About the Role
We are seeking a Trackside Support Engineering Technician to provide handson support for powertrain chassis and electronic systems at the racetrack. This role ensures optimal performance and reliability of clientsupplied hardware serving as a technical liaison between engineering departments and trackside operations. Youll perform hardware inspections implement system updates and assist customer teams with powertrain operations in a fastpaced motorsports environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide mechanical and operational support for powertrain chassis and electronic systems.
- Conduct hardware inspections and implement changes to maintain system integrity.
- Support customer teams with powertrain operations at race and test events.
- Act as a technical liaison between engineering departments and trackside operations.
- Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues; ensure compliance with technical standards.
Qualifications
- 5 years of full vehicle technical experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational training or certification in Auto Mechanics/Automotive Technology a plus.
- Strong ability to diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical systems.
- Skilled in reading and interpreting technical manuals circuit diagrams blueprints and engineering drawings.
