QA/QC Engineer Mechanical (Firefighting Specialization)
- Location: Doha Qatar
- Duration: 2 months extendable
We are seeking a skilled QA/QC Engineer Mechanical with expertise in firefighting systems to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards at our clients construction site. The role involves overseeing fire safety measures inspecting equipment and providing training.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise construction works related to fire safety onsite.
- Ensure workers comply with safety gear requirements.
- Inspect firefighting and emergency response equipment (extinguishers hydrants hose reels suppression systems like NOVEC FM200 Inergen).
- Participate in firefighting emergencies and emergency drills.
- Conduct hot work site inspections and standby duties.
- Prepare reports and recommend corrective actions.
- Provide basic firefighting training to staff.
- Maintain and inspect all firefighting equipment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- years of experience in QA/QC with a focus on firefighting systems.
- Knowledge of fire suppression systems (NOVEC FM200 Inergen) and safety regulations.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills.
- Certification in fire safety or a related field is a plus.
