Position Summary
Under direct supervision of the Manager of Grounds and Landscape Services and in accordance with established schedules or periodic instructions the Groundsworker performs general gardening maintenance work in various areas of the campus including parking lots and structures for the purpose of preserving the campus grounds in a healthy attractive and safe condition. Incumbent assists with event support including preparation and clean-up.
FLSA:Non-Exempt(Eligible for overtime compensation)
Anticipated Hiring Range:$3722 per month - $4251 per month commensurate with the candidates education experience skills and training.
CSU Classification Salary Range:$3722 per month - $5840per month

Department Information
Grounds and Landscaping Services is responsible for maintaining 170 landscaped acres and over 3000 trees on a sprawling park-like Campus. We also have responsibility for maintaining walkways and parking improvements.
