Job Summary
We are also seeking a part-time Art teacher who can create a structured skill-building and inspiring studio experienceone that strengthens foundational technique while encouraging creativity observation and personal voice.
In this role you would:
- Design and lead weekly art lessons that build bothtechnical foundationsandcreative confidence
- Introduce students to a range of media and processes
- Introduce artists who use the medium parents are using
- Create a clear progression of skills across the term with differentiation so all students can access the work at an appropriate level
- Incorporate opportunities for reflection and discussion helping students learn how to describe their process revise work and give respectful feedback
- Collaborate with classroom teachers when helpful so art can meaningfully connect to grade-level themes and inquiry units
