Description
This full-time on-site role is based in Beckley and offers a unique opportunity to lead and shape nursing practices within our esteemed Medical Practice.
In this pivotal role you will oversee nursing operations ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety are upheld within our Womens and Childrens Health department. You will collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop innovative care strategies enhance patient outcomes and foster a culture of excellence within the nursing team. This position not only emphasizes clinical leadership but also offers the chance to drive initiatives that align with our mission of providing exceptional care to our community.
Responsibilities
- Lead nursing staff in delivering high-quality care to women and children
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards
- Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures
- Oversee staff recruitment training and performance evaluations
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care
- Monitor patient outcomes and implement quality improvement initiatives
- Manage departmental budgets and resources effectively
- Act as a liaison between nursing staff and hospital administration
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Current WV RN license (or eligible for licensure).
- 57 years of progressive leadership experience in Womens and Childrens Health
- Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and build effective relationships with surgeons and anesthesia providers.
- BLS ACLS NRP certifications required (or obtained within a defined timeframe).
