Job Summary
Provide strategic clinical and operational leadership across designated services or departments.
Lead the development implementation and evaluation of nursing and clinical services in line with organisational goals.
Ensure the delivery of high-quality safe and patient-centred care across all areas of responsibility.
Manage workforce planning budgeting resource allocation and service performance.
Ensure compliance with NMBI standards HIQA regulations national policies and hospital governance frameworks.
Lead quality improvement initiatives clinical audits risk management and incident review processes.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement professional development and evidence-based practice.
Collaborate with senior management consultants and multidisciplinary teams to support service development and innovation.
Requirements
Registered Nurse with active registration on the NMBI Register.
Significant post-registration experience in an acute healthcare setting including senior management or leadership roles.
Relevant postgraduate qualification in nursing healthcare management or leadership (essential or highly desirable).
Proven experience in service planning operational management and staff leadership.
Excellent strategic thinking communication and decision-making skills.
Demonstrated commitment to continuous professional development and quality-driven care.

Required Skills:
