Key responsibilities:
The individual will be responsible for attainment of sales/market share objectives execution of national/regional/local promotional activities and programs for Breast reconstruction and augmentation.
There will be high expectations around effective territory management and account planning operating within an assigned territory budget and adherence to assigned administrative duties and consignment optimization in a timely manner.
Provide feedback on customers promotional programs and environmental changes and provide ideas to improve product and company performance in the marketplace.
Educational events will be a key part of this position across the province with nurses administration surgeons and other health professionals.
Work with members of the regional sales team to improve performance identify key selling techniques interact with sales and marketing management to refine product and market initiatives call on existing and prospective customers provide product information and develop new accounts and grow existing accounts within established geographic territory.
Qualifications
A minimum of a University Degree in business or health sciences is preferred
5 years direct sales experience hospital based medical device experience and private clinics would be preferred
Some background in understanding how to review clinic trial data with customers
Strong Communication and interpersonal skills and demonstrated leadership is required
Past background and success in customer service
Strong qualitative and quantitative analytical skills; specifically the ability to analyze sales trends uncover important insights and translate into meaningful action plans to grow the business
The individual must be an excellent collaborator and proactive solution oriented problem solver who demonstrates a strong ability to take initiatives and be creative this is required.
The individual will have the ability to handle multiple projects effectively and have anoverall understanding of the Canadian Healthcare environment
Some overnight travel is required.
