Job Summary
Department overview:
The IT Business Analysis function is responsible for day-to-dayrelationshipswith businessstakeholders ensuring consistency in engagement across thebusiness and act as the single point of contact for business Improvements and strategy.
Job Purpose:
Take the lead in building strong working relationships between the IT organization and one or more business units and for ensuring IT services meet their needs. Lead the planning and implementation of projects from idea to completion.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- To establish and maintain a business relationship between IT and the customer based on understanding the customer and their business needs.
- To identify customer needs and ensure that IT can meet these needs as business needs change over time. Represent the customers requirements.
- Assist the business in articulating the value of a service. Ensure the customer expectations do not exceed what they are willing to pay for and that IT is able to meet the customer expectations.
- Lead negotiations to provide enhanced products and services.
- Educate customers on available IT services.
- Align IT initiatives with the organizations business strategy to ensure technology investments support long-term goals and deliver measurable business value.
- Act as Business Analyst and/or Project Manager on Projects as required.
- Capture feedback and monitor customer satisfaction.
Qualification & Experience:
- Substantial experience as a Business Relationship Lead Project Manager Business Analyst (ideally in the manufacturing/automotive sector).
- Substantial experience as a communications lead for a similar organisation.
- Excellent experience of complex project delivery coordinate technical resources and managing a variety of different projects at any one time.
- A strong understanding of automotive and supporting processes.
- Experience of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems
- Knowledge and understanding of Bill of Materials (BoM) structures
- Basic experience and understanding in database and systems design.
- A proven solid knowledge of both traditional and Agile Project Management methods.
- Proven track record of managing project teams.
- Educated to Degree level or equivalent
