Job Summary
Overview:
10-week full-time research internship (June 2August 8 2026). Undergraduate graduate and postbacc interns will contribute to mentored mental health and substance use research projects while engaging in data science research ethics and open-science didactics. Under faculty mentorship by Nationwide Childrens Hospital and The Ohio State University the internship culminates in completion of a scholarly research product suitable for conference submission.
Day-to-day: Assist with data preparation analysis and research-related tasks under supervision. Participate in structured training activities and apply developing research skills in a collaborative fast-paced learning environment. Use interpersonal and critical thinking skills to interact effectively with various audiences.

- Obtains supplies and equipment needed for research projects and ensures they in proper working condition.
- Assists in laboratory analysis and data interpretation.
- Assists in the preparation and drafting of research proposals and reports collecting and collating supporting data.
- Organizes and maintains laboratory records.
- Maintains clean laboratory area and equipment.
- Follows all safety protocols and procedures.
