Job Summary

Location: Frankfort KY
Schedule: Full-Time Days No Weekends
Compensation
Salary: $110552 $176883 (based on experience)
Sign-On Bonus: $20000
Relocation Assistance: Up to $15000
Annual Incentive Bonus: 17.5% 26.25%
Job Summary
The Director of Emergency Services is responsible for leading all operations of the Emergency Department ensuring high-quality patient-centered care. This includes oversight of staffing clinical quality throughput budget management compliance and team development.
Requirements
Education
Required: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Preferred: Masters degree (MSN MBA or MHA)
Experience
Required: Minimum 1 year of leadership experience in an Emergency Department or related acute care unit
Preferred: 3 years of leadership experience in a similar or larger ED
Must Have: Proven record of achieving strong performance metrics and operational results
Responsibilities
Clinical Operations
Ensure efficient patient flow and volume forecasting.
Oversee admission and discharge processes.
Maintain compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards including Trauma readiness.
Promote patient safety using evidence-based practices.
Leadership
Build a positive accountable and collaborative work culture.
Support employee engagement retention and performance.
Identify training needs and provide coaching and mentoring.
Manage staffing scheduling position control and productivity.
Strategy & Financial Management
Lead initiatives to improve patient experience scores.
Manage operating expenses supply use and budget planning.
Work with leadership to grow and enhance services to increase volume.
