Job Description

The School-Based Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) will provide comprehensive speech language and communication services to students within an educational setting. This role focuses on assessment intervention and collaboration with school staff and families to support student success and meet individualized education goals.

Job Responsibilities

Conduct evaluations to diagnose speech language and communication disorders
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in alignment with student IEP goals
Provide direct therapy services to students in group and individual settings
Maintain accurate documentation progress notes and treatment updates in compliance with school and state guidelines
Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers support staff and administrators
Provide education to families and school personnel regarding student needs and therapy strategies
Maintain a supportive safe and inclusive environment for all students
Perform additional related duties as assigned

Requirements

Active California SLP License (must be in hand)
School-based experience preferred
Strong communication collaboration and documentation skills
CTC Credential not required
