Your role with us:

The Sportsbook Specialist is a strategic and executive role responsible for ensuring the operational excellence of all sportsbook-related activities including odds lifecycle events & markets management risk monitoring promotional setups performance tracking daily KPI analysis and coordination with internal and external stakeholders (providers CRM product payments compliance and marketing). The role exists to maximize bettor engagement bet conversion margin stability and regulatory compliance while supporting continuous product improvements and day-to-day sportsbook operations.

What you will do:

• Continually monitor odds margins limits and markets to offer a competitive product.
• Request validate and approve new competitions markets selections and sport-specific configurations.
• Escalate and resolve sportsbook incidents (locked markets settlement delays operational errors).
• Benchmark competitors to identify innovation opportunities and best practices.
  
  
• Daily maintenance of the sportsbook home page.
• Update banners special markets and categories highlighted.
• Develop content and promotions ensuring we cover the main leagues and sports based on real data and players preferences. Ensure all sportsbook activities comply with Brazilian regulations advertising rules (CONAR) and internal policies.
• Create and QA bonus tools such as free bets bonus money boosts etc.
• Work with the global teams to tailor general offers.
  
  
• Track GGR turnover margin bet count active bettors and market-level performance.
• Provide daily/weekly/monthly reports and insights for decision-making.
• Evaluate the impact of promotions provider performance and user behavior changes.
  
  
• Work with product and tech teams to enhance the sportsbook experience (navigation mobile UX betslip interactions event prioritization).
• Work with the global teams to tailor general offers.
• Work closely with odds provider manager casino team and the CRM team.
• Support AML/fraud teams by flagging suspicious activity or gameplay anomalies.

What you will bring:

• Advanced/Fluent English mandatory with daily interaction with global teams.
• 25 years of experience in sportsbook operations trading CRM or product roles in an iGaming environment.
• Strong analytical background with proven experience in using data for operational decisions.
• Solid understanding of betting markets odds formats trading principles and bet lifecycle.
• Ability to interpret sportsbook KPIs (GGR hold % exposure CLV acquisition & retention metrics).
• Proficiency with spreadsheets (Google Sheets/Excel) dashboards (Looker Power BI Tableau) and reporting tools.
• Familiarity with bonus engines risk platforms and customer segmentation systems.
• Ability to test and validate product/feature behavior including QA processes.
• Understanding of regulatory requirements for fixed-odds betting.

Bonus points if you also have:

• Sports & Gambling knowledge advantageous
• Background with regulated markets is a strong advantage (Brazil Europe LATAM).
• Proficient with Google Suite (Drive Spreadsheets Docs) Slack Jira & Intercom
• Spanish is an advantage
