Job Summary

Days/Hours: Monday through Friday 10:30am-1:20pm

Additional hours available for Crossing Guard Position 7:15am-10:30am

Supports students through the customer service line seating in the cafeteria and dismissal from the lunchroom tables as they complete their meal. Assists with the maintenance of the cafeteria area in order to comply with federal state local and department requirements. Communicates promptly and works harmoniously with the students and staff.

Supervises students during lunch period in an area designated by the Principal.
Monitors students for appropriate behavior while they are in the lunchroom.

Lunchroom Supervisor Detailed Job Description

Provide student and parent pedestrian safety by facilitating safe passage of school children across high traffic streets and intersections.

Provide safe crossing or passage of school children (and/or pedestrians) pursuant to the procedures learned in the required specialized training course.
Monitor potentially dangerous hazardous traffic and/or vehicular problems.
