Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable resilient Java microservices; build high-throughput REST/gRPC APIs.
- Own supplier/carrier/marketplace integrations end-to-end (auth mapping retries monitoring performance).
- Model relational schemas in PostgreSQL and scalable NoSQL in ScyllaDB; optimize SQL and indexes.
- Implement caching with Redis/Valkey; identify bottlenecks and improve throughput/reliability.
- Add observability (logs traces metrics); collaborate with DevOps on AWS EKS deployments and CI/CD.
- Write clean well-tested code; perform reviews; mentor mid/junior engineers; contribute to internal frameworks.
- Partner with Product/QA/business; document APIs workflows integrations and architecture.
- Communicate effectively in English.
Requirements
- 57 years of backend engineering with Java; strong concurrency OOP/design patterns and distributed systems.
- AdvancedSpring Boot(Web Data Security Scheduling).
- Hands-onKafkafor high-volume processing (partitioning retries).
- Strong SQL; experience withPostgreSQLorMySQL.
- Microservices communication usingRESTandgRPC.
- Cloud experience (AWSpreferred); Docker Kubernetes and CI/CD familiarity.
- External API integrations (suppliers carriers payments logistics marketplaces).
- Proven performance optimization in large-scale systems.
- Excellent communication; collaboration with distributed teams; high ownership; organized detail-oriented; willing to mentor and learn.
- Advanced English.
Nice to Have
- Experience withScyllaDB/Cassandraor other high-write NoSQL systems.
- Experience withevent-driven sagas/workflow orchestrationframeworks.
