Location: Gurnee IL
Contract Duration: 35 Weeks
Schedule: Day Shift 5x7.5-hour days (08:00 AM 03:30 PM)
Pay Range: $55 $65/hour
Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced in-person Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide services in a school-based environment in Gurnee Illinois. The SLP will support students with speech-only delays as well as those receiving special education services. Responsibilities include evaluations IEP participation direct therapy and RtI support.
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations
Determine eligibility and participate in IEP meetings
Provide direct therapy services across multiple grade levels
Deliver RtI (Response to Intervention) support
Serve students with isolated speech delays and those with broader special education needs
Maintain thorough documentation and communicate effectively with staff and families
Required Qualifications
Licensure: Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with Speech-Language Pathology endorsement
Registration: Must be registered to practice in Lake County
Education: Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology (required)
