Job Summary

Locum Physician - Vascular Surgery

Join our dynamic team at a well-established facility in the heart of Youngstown Ohio. Serving as a key healthcare provider this hospital specializes in a range of surgical services with a strong emphasis on vascular procedures. With a Level 1 trauma designation and an average annual ER volume of 250000 the facility offers a collaborative practice environment supported by a full complement of ancillary staff. Job Responsibilities:

Provide vascular surgical care including aneurysm repairs and vascular access devices.
Perform endovascular surgeries such as carotid artery stenting and bypass surgery.
Manage cases of peripheral artery disease and gangrene.
Work closely with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver optimal patient outcomes.
Participate in weekend call schedules providing care from 8 AM to 8 AM.
Maintain accurate documentation utilizing the Epic EMR system.

Qualifications:

Board Certified in Vascular Surgery (FACS) - REQUIRED
Active Ohio medical license - REQUIRED
DEA Certification - REQUIRED
BLS/ACLS Certification - REQUIRED
Availability for weekend coverage - REQUIRED

License and Certification Requirements:

Board Certification in Vascular Surgery
Active Ohio Medical License
Current DEA Registration
BLS and ACLS Certifications
