Job Summary
Job Opportunity: Locum Physician - Vascular Surgery
Join our dedicated team at a prominent healthcare facility in Youngstown Ohio seeking locum coverage for Vascular Surgery.
Our facility is equipped with a full complement of ancillary staff and two operating rooms providing a robust environment for surgical care. With an annual emergency room volume of 250000 and a trauma designation of Level 1 you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality care to both adult and geriatric patients.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide weekend coverage as needed.
- Perform vascular surgery procedures including aneurysm repairs and vascular access devices.
- Conduct endovascular surgery procedures such as carotid artery stenting and bypass surgery.
- Manage and treat lymphedema and peripheral artery disease.
- Maintain documentation using the Epic EMR system.
- Participate in a call schedule with a 50% ratio.
- Oversee an average of 10 cases per day.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in Vascular Surgery (FACS) - Required
- Active Ohio medical license - Required
- DEA certification - Required
- BLS and ACLS certification - Required
- Availability for specified dates - Required
License and Certification Requirements:
- Current Board Certification in Vascular Surgery
- Active Ohio medical license (no exceptions)
- DEA license
- BLS and ACLS certifications
