Join us as one of our two new Senior Solution Architects.
We are hiring two Senior Solution Architects to take strategic roles in shaping NovonesisIT landscape. These roles are critical in bridging business needs and technology strategy across Novonesisglobal IT. While the core responsibilities are the same the focus areas and your background differ:
- Position 1Technical Focus:A candidate with a strong foundation in software engineering and/or infrastructure able to bridge technology and strategy and work hands-on inside projects while shaping the bigger picture.
- Position 2Design & Consultancy Focus:A candidate with a strong foundation in consultancy solution- and integration-design business process understanding and strong stakeholder management skills
Both roles require an enterprise architecture mindset the ability to understand and manage complex business processes as well as being able to communicate complex technology concepts clearly to stakeholders influence solution governance and ensure alignment between business priorities and technology capabilities.
Note that both roles are architecture roles. You will not be developing solutions nor will you be managing projects.

You will join a team of 12 highly skilled professionals dedicated to developing Novonesisenterprise architecture and driving solution design for efficiency and value. Collaboration and openness are at the heart of our culture and we work with agile principles to prioritize and deliver impactful solutions. You will work closely with technical experts and business stakeholders to deliver integrated high-value solutions.
In this role youll make an impact by:
While the responsibilities below apply to both roles the emphasis and projects you will work on will differ based on your background
- Designing and documenting IT solutions aligned with Novonesisarchitecture standards
- Leading solution architecture methods and promoting reuse of technology platforms
- Designing high-level solutions that handle end-to-end business processes across enterprise solutions
- Balancing business needs with technical constraints and strategic objectives
- Communicating technology requirements benefits and risks to senior stakeholders
- Collaborating with Enterprise Architects and senior stakeholders to shape the IT roadmap
- Driving compliance with GxP and other regulatory requirements
- Managing and maintaining IT landscape documentation
- While the responsibilities below apply to both roles the emphasis will differ based on your background
To succeed you must hold:
- At least 5 years of experience as a Solution Architect in a complex IT landscape (biotech pharma or manufacturing preferred)
- ForPosition 1 (Technical Focus):Strong technical foundation in software engineering and/or infrastructure/hardware
- ForPosition 2 (Design & Consultancy Focus):Strong expertise in integration architecture solution design and project consultancy
- Proven experience with enterprise platforms such as SAP S/4 Coupa Workday Intelex Aveeva
- Familiarity with key domains supporting business processes including LIMS PLM PIM DMS ERP and CRM
- Experience with agile methods and governance frameworks
- Experience with GxP and other regulatory compliance and frameworks
- Modeling experience in BPMN and Archimate (a strong plus)
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical architects and senior business leaders
- Full professional proficiency in English
- A proactive mindset and strong self-management skills
