Job Summary
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Accounts Payables and General Ledger Accountant is responsible for encoding all invoices and expense reports to the G/L processing and issuing of all AP checks recording and reconciliation of daily cash activities and GL entries working on special projects to support Controller and CFO. You will also provide excellent services to our internal customers and outside vendors.

You will also provide excellent services to our internal customers and outside vendors.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Encode appropriate G/L account distribution and enter invoices and expense reports into accounts payables system.

Audit expense and GL reports to ensure proper documentation and company guidelines are followed.
Maintain account payable files.
Produce daily cash reports.
Maintaining banks outstanding checks.
Answer inquiries from vendors and departments.
Record general entries
Reconcile GL accounts
Prepare monthly management reports
Reconcile sales tax amounts
QUALIFICATIONS:
Accounting degree is required.
Four years experience in Accounts Payable and General Ledger.
You must have experience with Microsoft Office and database systems with an excellent working knowledge of Excel.
Customer service orientation.
Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment with team-oriented interpersonal skills.
