Job Summary
Overview:
40 hours per week Monday-Friday 8am-5pm Weekend rotation with on-call requirement.
Will drive Nationwide Childrens vehicle. Valid Ohio drivers license and proof of auto insurance is required by hospital policy. Must pass a motor vehicle background inspection insurance eligibility driving qualifications and training set forth by Nationwide Childrens Hospital and must maintain qualification of insurance guidelines.

Essential Functions:
- Maintains the inventory levels of supplies and equipment placing orders and purchasing products as needed.
- Assists with the accurate fulfillment and delivery of ordered products and supplies to patient homes.
- Maintains accurate records of equipment orders costs usage and delivery.
- Assists with the education of patients and caregivers on the proper use and maintenance of medical equipment.
- Performs excellent customer service answering questions and resolving issues and assists with the completion of needed administrative tasks.
- Participates in quality and performance improvement activities.
Education Requirement:
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Licensure Requirement:
Valid Ohio drivers license and proof of auto insurance as required by hospital policy and position-specific requirements. Must pass motor vehicle background inspection insurance eligibility driving qualifications and training set forth by Nationwide Childrens Hospital and maintain qualification of insurance guidelines.
Certifications:
- DOT HAZMAT Transportation certification required.
- Completion of NCH safety and education training within 30 days of hire required.
Skills:
- Effective verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical and organizational skills.
Experience:
- One year of experience in health care environment preferred.
- Home Medical Equipment experience preferred.
