Job Summary
Turnaround CostEngineer
RoleDescription:
Position performs tasks associated with managing cost engineering activities including the development and implementation of cost control systems invoice processing activities monthly cost reporting trending FAC Forecast at Completion Analysis cost variance analysis funding budgets accruals cash flows contingency drawdown productivity analysis and value engineering analysis.
Job Responsibilities:
Knowledgeable of standard business cost control procedures and practices
Will become familiar with andcomply withClients cost control procedures and practices
Reviewbasecostdata budgets balance sheetsinvoices timesheetsetc.
Conduct cost tracking of labor materials and other invoices
Track headcount
Prepare andissue routine reports
Identifyand communicate accounting and auditing issues to managers
Identifyperformance improvement opportunities
Track andmaintaincost estimatesman-hourestimatesequipmentand materialestimates
Verifythe project has a workbreakdown structure WBS whichaligns with the estimate and reporting such findings to management
Develop the methodology necessary for effective cost control for projects
Qualifications & Skills for Success:
Minimum of3yearsofexperience in working withbusiness cost data(preferred)
Bachelors degree in accounting or related discipline from an accredited institution(preferred)
Understandandutilizestandard auditing requirements
