Job Summary

Job Summary: The Director of Compensation is a strategic and operational leader responsible for designing implementing and managing the organizations compensation programs. Reporting to the Vice President for Human Resources & Organizational Development or designee this role ensures alignment with organizational goals fosters a culture of equity and transparency and enhances the efficiency and effectiveness of HR processes through technology and data management.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field with a minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in compensation or related fields with at least 3 years in a leadership role.

Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Licensing Requirements: Valid drivers license

Hiring Range:$70400 - $88000

Preferred Qualifications:

- Masters degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field
- Compensation certification

Job Specific Task List:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive compensation strategies policies and programs aligned with organizational objectives and market trends. - (Essential)
  • Conduct competitive market analyses evaluate salary structures and recommend adjustments to attract and retain top talent. - (Essential)
  • Ensure compliance with federal state and local regulations regarding compensation practices. - (Essential)
  • Design and manage incentive plans merit pay programs and other reward initiatives to drive employee engagement and performance. - (Essential)
  • Partner with leadership to provide data-driven recommendations for executive compensation and strategic workforce planning. - (Essential)
  • Collaborate with HR and organizational leaders to ensure alignment of HRIS and compensation strategies with broader HR and organizational goals. - (Essential)
  • Act as a strategic advisor to the Vice President for Human Resources & Organizational Development providing insights on market trends and best practices. - (Essential)
  • Liaison to Finance Payroll divisional supervisors and constituency groups on matters involving compensation. - (Essential)
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations related to compensation HRIS and data privacy - (Essential)
  • Develop and enforce policies and procedures related to compensation to promote consistency and fairness. - (Essential)
  • Maintain high standards of confidentiality and data security across all HR systems and processes. - (Essential)
