Your Job Opportunity:

EVPassport is seeking a hands-on highly skilled IT Manager to own and execute all aspects of internal IT operations and information security programs. This role serves as the primary technical point of contact for employees and stakeholders across the company and will report to the VP Product.

In this role you will provide direct responsive support to both onsite and remote employees ensuring all team members have a secure seamless and productive technology experience. You will be responsible for device lifecycle management access provisioning endpoint security compliance operations SaaS administration and maintaining a strong IT and security posture as the organization scales.

You will also support initiatives related to SOC 2 compliance risk management and security controls and collaborate closely with Cloud Engineering HR Legal and external auditors.

This role is ideal for an experienced IT professional who is equally comfortable rolling up their sleeves to solve day-to-day support issues as they are designing secure scalable IT systems.

KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support comprehensive Information Security programs and initiatives aligned with SOC 2.
  • Document and improve security processes including IAM incident response asset protection and vulnerability management.
  • Conduct periodic risk assessments and drive mitigation strategies.
  • Maintain and enforce security policies standards and operational guidelines.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to implement and monitor security controls.
  • Stay informed on emerging cyber threats and best practices.

Enterprise IT Operations & Administration

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all internal IT needs; respond to and resolve requests for both onsite and remote employees.
  • Administer critical systems such as Okta Google Workspace Slack and MDM platforms.
  • Own access management provisioning deprovisioning and permission reviews.
  • Manage device lifecycle operations including procurement imaging deployment repairs and retirement.
  • Support and maintain office IT infrastructure (Wi-Fi printers conference rooms network equipment).
  • Oversee procurement budgeting and vendor management for IT products and services.
  • Plan and execute IT projects including upgrades migrations and new system rollouts.
  • Implement and enforce IT operational policies and security standards.

Employee Support & Service Delivery

  • Provide Tier 12 technical support directly to employees ensuring timely and clear communication.
  • Address issues related to hardware software VPN networking SaaS systems and account access.
  • Support both in-office staff and remote employees across multiple locations and time zones.
  • Lead new-hire onboarding from device setup to account provisioning and manage offboarding workflows.
  • Maintain accurate IT documentation support resources and knowledge base content.

Systems Administration & Infrastructure

  • Manage identity and access management (IAM) across systems applying least-privilege principles.
  • Oversee device security compliance enforcement endpoint health and patching.
  • Monitor system performance availability and operational health.
  • Troubleshoot office infrastructure and ensure reliable connectivity.

Security & Compliance

  • Enforce MFA endpoint protection password standards and privileged access controls.
  • Support SOC 2 audits and customer security questionnaires.
  • Detect and assist with remediation of IT-related security incidents.
  • Maintain an accurate asset inventory and perform periodic access and compliance audits

Additional projects as may be assigned by the Company.


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems or equivalent work experience.
  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience in IT management IT operations or IT security roles.
  • Strong understanding of SOC 2 security controls and audit practices.
  • Proficiency administering Okta Google Workspace and modern SaaS ecosystems.
  • Experience with macOS Windows and MDM tools (Kandji Jamf Intune Mosyle Meraki).
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across networking identity devices and SaaS platforms.
  • Excellent communication customer service and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Ability to multitask prioritize and deliver under deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Salary: $110000 - $130000 Placement within this base salary range depends upon several factors including prior relevant job experience and skill set.

This role will be based out of our Santa Monica office full-time.
