Commercial Line Insurance Agent
Job Summary
Seeking a dedicated and experienced Commercial Line Insurance Agent to join a team. This role is ideal for a motivated individual with a strong background in commercial lines production who thrives in a collaborative and supportive work environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving new business growth maintaining client relationships and providing exceptional service to valued customers.
Compensation Package
- Salary: $50000 - $60000 annually (commensurate with experience)
- Competitive benefits package 401(k) paid time off professional development opportunities etc.
Responsibilities
- Conduct commercial outbound calls to generate new business opportunities.
- Work with agency-generated and purchased commercial data leads.
- Actively pursue and secure new business opportunities.
- Handle service work for both Personal Lines and Commercial Lines including answering incoming calls managing referrals and supporting general office needs.
- Assist with cross-selling and follow up on in-office leads.
- Utilize software for sourcing and tracking prospects.
- Quote new and renewal business as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure excellent customer service and operational efficiency.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Licenses:
- Property & Casualty (P&C) license in Oregon is required.
- Life & Health (L&H) license is preferred but not mandatory.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in commercial lines production.
- Proven track record of producing and providing excellent service.
- Skills:
- Strong work ethic and ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency in using sales and agency management software (training will be provided if needed).
