Job Summary

THIS IS AN ADOLESCENT UNIT - MUST BE COMFORTABLE AND HIGHLY EXPERIENCED!

*Effective 6/24/2024 any candidates presented to Brattleboro Retreat that live within 35 miles of the facility will be subject to a 10% rate decrease. Please include the candidates address or drivers license in the submission packet.

Works with the multidisciplinary team to identify individual and group needs and interventions. Utilizes the nursing process to meet the needs of patients requiring complex nursing care. Provides clinical supervision of MHWs to ensure safe and therapeutic delivery of care. The Co-Occurring Disorders Inpatient Treatment Program offers 24-hour care in a safe and nurturing environment thats designed to promote healing and ongoing recovery.

Our treatment approach focuses on helping patients develop and maintain their sobriety while also managing co-occurring psychiatric issues (such as Depression Bipolar Disorder Anxiety Disorders etc.). The Co-Occurring Disorders treatment team specializes in providing high-quality intervention medically assisted drug and alcohol withdrawal stabilization and the education needed to ensure a strong and successful recovery.
Requirement description :

MUST HAVE RECENT ADOLESCENT EXPERIENCE IN THE LAST 3 MONTHS - REQUIRED
5 years of experience as an RN required (inpatient psych experience must be within the last 3 months LTC will not be accepted) - REQUIRED
Adolescent Psych/Behavioral Health experience and age groups must be listed on the resume - REQUIRED
Must be willing to float to other units and take charge shifts - REQUIRED
Will consider first time travelers

PROFILE REQUIREMENTS

Resume with psych experience and age groups listed Ex. Psych RN - Facility - (AGE GROUP/POPULATION) - DATES
RTO cannot exceed 7 days
Psych skills checklist (within the last year)
2 supervisory references from last 2 years of employment
Certifications - certifications don t need to be active at time of submission but must be willing to obtain. Please include CPI if they have it. 8 hours of NBO will be added to the COA if they do not have an active CPI since they will complete it onsite.
License - confirm they are willing and eligible to obtain (please include this in the profile)
Drivers license or candidates address must be included in the submission packet (35 miles or less will result in rate decrease)
